Fall is my favorite season, and yes, it has everything to do with trying out new beauty trends. Once September rolls around, I’m already itching for a new haircut, but I also have my mind set on booking an appointment for a trendy manicure and trying out some cool makeup looks this season. To get ahead of the game, I tapped a few makeup artists and manicurists to share their predictions for the top fall beauty trends that are going to be everywhere soon. From spider lashes’ to ‘90s grunge manicures, here’s what you can expect to see in the months ahead.

  • MarQuis Ward is a celebrity makeup artist and LYS Beauty’s Artistry & Education Lead with 14 years of experience across TV, film and commercials. Ward simplifies his techniques into approachable tips, blending artistry with education to help people embrace trends, understand their skin and enhance their natural beauty. His previous clients include Ryan Destiny, Raven Goodwin and Novi Brown.
  • Sara Wren is a professional makeup artist and senior director of artistry at Milk Makeup. She has 19 years of experience in the industry, with eight of those years spent at the brand. She specializes in developing brand campaigns, educating staff and creating social media content. She previously held positions at Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, MAC Cosmetics and Shu Uemura.
  • Christian Briceno is a celebrity makeup artist and studied at The Art Students League, where he learned about beauty and fashion makeup. His work has been featured in fashion shows such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Carolina Herrera and Chanel. His previous clients include Alicia Silverstone, Laura Donnelly and Debi Mazar.

  • Julie Kandalec is a celebrity manicurist and educator in NYC with more than 20 years of experience. Her nails range from classically chic to decked out with 3D studs and chains. Her previous clients include Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain, Anya Taylor Joy and Camila Cabello, and her manicures have been featured on major runways and red carpets. 
  • Pattie Yankee is a celebrity nail artist, industry consultant and founder of Pattie Yankee Products with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. She is based in New York and works regularly on films, television, red carpets, magazine shoots and NYFW. Her previous clients include Aubrey Plaza, Allison Williams and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas.
  • Juanita Huber-Millet is the founder and creative director at Townhouse, a British luxury nail bar, which has 40 locations across the UK, ranging from Harrods in Knightsbridge and Chelsea in London to Manchester and Leeds, and opened international salons in Los Angeles and New York.
