Nonnas

Although it has been nearly a month since Nonnas dropped on Netflix, the heartwarming biopic still sits comfortably on the streaming service's top ten list. After soaring to the top spot shortly after its premiere, the film has since made its way to the seventh spot, outranking popular titles like Home and Havoc.

I was surprised to see this title pop up among Netflix's trending movies for three consecutive weeks, and so, of course, my curiosity got the best of me. I saw that the film has 81 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, then I caught a glimpse of one hilarious kitchen scene between three grandmothers and I was intrigued enough to start watching. By the time the credits rolled, I finally understood why fans find this tale so compelling. (And no, I'm not just talking about the mouth-watering Italian food.)
