As someone who is 5’0", busty *and* curvy, I’ve often limited myself to wearing specific items—or being completely lost on what works well for my body type. I’ve always wanted some guidance from a personal stylist and jumped at the opportunity for professional advice. During my session, there were a few tips I learned like wearing pointed-toe shoes to elongate my height and trying out vertical necklines to complement my torso (and the girls), but there was one thing that surprised me and left me changing the way I dressed. The magic of a belt

Now, I have a confession to make: I haven’t worn a belt since high school. I wore them for the obvious reason of keeping my pants from slipping, but also sported colorful belts to match my skinny jeans (oh, the 2010s was a time). But as I got older, I didn’t really think much of them nor needed it to hold me up. But when personal stylist Samantha Dawn added a belt to my outfit I didn’t mind it. She also left me with helpful tips to make the most out of this accessory, especially when it comes to being a curvy petite woman.
