When I renovated my kitchen several years ago, two things were true: I wanted a high-end streamlined look and didn’t want to pay for a high-end streamlined look. After all, I love paneled, nearly invisible appliances as much as the next girl, but when they run you in the five figures, I strongly think it’s not worth it. (Also, who are you fooling? We all know you have a dishwasher behind there!)
The CAFÈ line felt like the perfect solution, since they offer modern technology and finishes (one of the few non-luxury brands out there with a matte white) with a slew of size and customization options at a price that’s on par with other mid-to-upscale brands. (Fridges start at $3,000, though you can typically find one on sale.)
But how does this fridge hold up? After two-and-a-half years, here’s my honest review.
