I've seen Kate Middleton's favorite parenting gesture resurface so often that I've lost count. Her husband, Prince William, and his brother, Prince Harry, have copied the go-to move on a few occasions, and I even saw Taylor Swift hop on the bandwagon during a surprise visit to Children’s Mercy Hospital last year. Queen Camilla, Sarah Ferguson and Meghan Markle are just a few others who have used the famous parenting trick—and now, yet another royal is following suit.

This week, Duchess Sophie visited staff and students at the Royal School for the Blind Charity, and Buckingham Palace marked the occasion by sharing a few highlights on social media from what they called an "inspiring afternoon." The caption reads, "The Duchess of Edinburgh visited to learn how the school is helping reshape perceptions of visual impairment."

Set to Rusted Roo's "Send Me On My Way," the montage includes clips of the royal interacting with young children and playing games with the staff, but what struck me was how often she used the trademark parenting move.
